About B Arch Course
B Arch full form is Bachelor of Architecture. B Arch course is five years long under-graduation degree program. To be eligible for this course you need to have some skills like drawing, writing, practical managerial ability, creativity, and an eye for detail. As India is growing the need for architects is also growing. We need homes, we need hospitals, we need malls, we need bridges and so many things. To make each of them we need different designs and creative styles. And to make this task possible we need architects who accomplish all these tasks and bring those plans to reality.
Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) is a technical course in which you learn many things which are essential to becoming an architect. In this course, students learn the process of construction of malls, highways, commercial buildings, and civil construction.

B Arch eligibility
To get Admission to B Arch you should have the minimum required eligibility.
Aspirants should have scored 50% in 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and chemistry from any recognized Examination Board according to COA now other stream students can’t be eligible for this course as new rules.
10+3 years’ diploma in any stream from a recognized board, university, and institution.
Aspirants can get admission in this course through NATA, JEE MAIN and AAT.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture [ NATA ]: Nata is one of the most famous examinations in India for taking admission to B.Arch. It is conducted twice a year, on which admission is taken in various colleges in B.Arch. After passing this exam, aspirants have to apply for counselling in different colleges.
JEE MAIN Paper 2: JEE Mains exam is conducted by National Test Agency[NTA]. Through JEE Main paper 2, aspirants can take admitted to various colleges like NITs, IITs and GFTIs and based on this admission can also be taken to private colleges.
Architecture Aptitude Test [AAT]: Another way to take admission to the B Arch course is that you qualify AAT. And to be eligible for AAT you have to clear JEE Advance. After qualifying AAT, you will have a chance to take admitted to the courses offered by IITs.
Bachelor of Architecture B Arch Course: Admission Process
To get admission to the B Arch course you have two options. First, you can go through the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture). And the second way is to choose the JEE MAIN. To clear these exams, you need to have proper knowledge and understanding of subjects. Every states and university have different criteria for admission.
Most universities and institutions take admission based on Merit. They consider marks scored by candidates in their board exams as well as in the entrance test. After clearing this stage universities may call aspirants for counselling and then seats are allotted to deserving candidates.

Master of Architecture(M Arch)
M Arch is a 2-year postgraduate degree course. M Arch is a professional degree course that helps aspirants to get an architectural license. To do M Arch, the aspirant has to do B Arch.
To take admission to M Arch, the candidates have to clear the entrance exam like GATE.
MAUD: Master of Architecture and Urban Design
Master of Architecture in Urban Design is a two-year post-graduate degree course. In this course, the construction and design of urban areas are studied. This course covers Urban Studies, Housing Politics and Patterns, Design and Development, Natural Systems etc.
MBEM: Master of Building Engineering and Management Master of Building Engineering is a 2-year postgraduate program. This course teaches the aspirants about the Management of Building Construction, and how to work on a project with effectiveness and efficiency. The average fee for this course is around 1 to 3 lakhs and the starting salary ranges from 4 to 8 lakhs.
Master of Planning Master of Planning is a 2-year postgraduate degree course divided into 4 semesters.
